For the past 4 observing seasons we have been conducting a detailed interferometric and spectrophotometric study of 5 Mira variable stars with PTI and supporting spectrometers at IRTF, and Lick observatories. The PTI observations are taken in the K band while contemporaneously conducting spectrophotometric observations in the near infrared (IRTF) and the visible (Lick). These data should be sufficient to characterize the distance to these objects to better than 10%, which in turn should allow for an unambiguous determination of the pulsation mode of these objects. This poster will present some preliminary results from our analysis of some of the current observations.
