We propose to examine the spread or dispersion in the rotation-activity relations and examine one possible cause for such a dispersion, rotational modulation of emission line fluxes. Of the two most important observable parameters for active chromosphere stars, rapid rotation and depth of convection zone, we plan to bold the first constant in our sample and examine the second. Our main-sequence binaries, all with periods of two days will be observed on successive days to determine whether rotational modulation is an important contributor to observed differences in chromospheric activity levels. A second possible result will be the determination of the spectral type on the main-sequence at which a rotational velocity of 25 km s^-1 is sufficient to produce a chromospherically active star. A secondary program will be a search for hot companions in these stars.
