In the present study we investigate the continuity of physical properties between disky ellipticals and S0 galaxies in terms of their D/B ratios and other relevant bulge and disk parameters. We find a smooth transition between both types of galaxies and conclude that, like S0 galaxies, disky ellipticals must have formed in conditions where gas dissipation played a very important role.
