Binarity has been suggested to have something to do with the B[e] phenomenon long time ago. It is thus surely worth of discussion what roles binarity might play in the B[e] phenomenon, as we did in the session dedicated to this topic during this Workshop. Most of the discussion section has been concentrated on a single theme: could the ``merging scenario" explain at least the B[e] supergiants? Despite of the interesting and participated debate, we were unable to reach an unanimous conclusion.
