We report on optical and infrared observations of the black hole candidate XTE J1817-330 (ATel #714). The observations were performed in the K band with the REMIR Camera (field of view of 10'x10' and a pixel size of 1.22") and in the R band with the ROSS Camera (field of view of 10'x10' and a pixel size of 1.22"). Both instruments are mounted on REM, a 60-cm robotic telescope located at the La Silla Observatory (Chile).
