The present study examines the discovery of lithium and boron isotopes during measurements of the elemental and isotopic composition of two interplanetary dust particles (IDPs) with a secondary ion mass spectrometer. A few counts of Be were discovered in both IDPs. It is inferred that IDPs and meteorites are derived from the same origin, namely, the residual material of the solar nebula.
