We report the discovery of optical transient ROTSE3 J004626+410714 in unfiltered CCD images taken by the 0.45m ROTSE-IIIb telescope at McDonald Observatory, Texas. The object, located at RA: 00:46:25.65 Dec: +41:07:14.2 (J2000, uncertainty <1 "), was observed at ~15.4 mag on 2008 Jun 5.41 UT, ~16.8 mag on 2008 Jun 12.40 UT, and ~16.9 mag on 2008 Jun 15.38 UT. When imaged on 2008 Jun 22.37 UT and 2008 Jul 12.31 UT, it was fainter than a limiting magnitude of ~17.8 and ~18.8 respectively.
