I present the first results of a spectroscopic search for Lyman-α emitters (LAEs) in the Cl1604 supercluster field, using the spectroscopic database taken as part of the Observations of Redshift Evolution in Large Scale Environments (ORELSE) survey. The ORELSE survey is an ongoing multi-wavelength campaign mapping out the environmental effects on galaxy evolution in the large scale structures surrounding 20 known clusters at moderate redshift (0.6 < z < 1.3) using the Low Resolution Imaging Spectrometer on Keck I and the DEep Imaging Multi-Object Spectrograph (DEIMOS) on Keck II. Twelve DEIMOS masks were inspected in the Cl1604 field, spanning a volume of 1.365 x 10^4 comoving cubic Megaparsecs. I find a total of 17 high redshift 4.4 < z < 5.67 LAE candidates down to a limiting luminosity of 0.07 L_star. The frequency of detections is nearly an order of magnitude higher than the recent LAE sample detected in the DEEP2 database and higher by a factor of two than any other survey of LAEs at similar redshifts to date. I also report on the discovery of two possible structures at z 4.4 and z 4.8 as well as evidence for negative evolution in the star-formation rate density from z 4.6 to z 5.7. Finally, I explore any bias introduced in the LAE population by lensing effects induced by the supercluster.
