We discuss the stability of various discoseismic modes of black hole accretion disks. In particular the damping and growth of each mode due to the absorption at the corotation radius (where the pattern rotation rate equals the fluid rotation rate) is considered. Unstable modes may be of interest as possible sources for High Frequency QPOs observed in X-ray binaries.
