We present a new background subtraction technique for photon physics at CDF based upon inner detector conversions. The conversion is reconstructed by both the tracking chamber and the calorimeter, and the two measurements are compared to separate π^0 and η decays from prompt photons. We use this method to measure the inclusive photon cross-section with Run Ib data. The new measurement is most sensitive in the low pT region where a cross-section excess over NLO QCD predictions has been observed by conventional photon analyses.
