Data on atmospheric concentrations of atomic oxygen and the
oxidizing-reducing properties of the atmosphere at heights of up to 95
km are presented. They were obtained from silver sensing elements
located in the nose cone of the M-100 meteorological rocket. A special
procedure used to activate the silver detectors is described.
