We report direct determination of auroral kilometric radiation (AKR) burst positions above the Earth's auroral zones by a differential delay triangulation technique using four spacecraft. The observations were taken with the wideband data (WBD) instrument on the Cluster spacecraft at frequencies of 125, 250, and 500 KHz. The AKR burst positions were located with a typical uncertainty of +/- 300 km in the plane normal to the Earth-sapcecraft line-of-sight. We will show movies of the AKR burst positions as a function of time and frequency projected on the Eath's magnetosphere for eight observing periods between 20 June and 31 August 2002. The AKR bursts were located above the auroral oval with a strong preference for longitudes near local midnight. This research was funded by NASA grants.
