In a project carried out by the Astronomisches Rechen-Institut Heidelberg (ARI/ZAH) in collaboration with the Institut für Erdmessung (IfE), Hannover, the collection of the Palomar--Leiden and Trojan Survey plates was digitized and processed into a digital image archive which can be effectively mined by software. Access will be made available in due course to anyone via the internet.
