We describe techniques for assembling multiple CCD frames into a single wide-field image. We apply these techniques to produce mosaic images of M31 and M33, using the Image Reduction and Analysis Facility (IRAF). A short cook-book detailing IRAF tasks and parameters is availible. The data assembled consist of 95 B-band and 87 I-band CCD frames obtained with the Burrell Schmidt Telescope on Kitt Peak. Exposures times in each band for a typical pixel in the final mosaics were 3000 s. for M31 and 1000 s. for M33 Final image sizes are 4400x5200 pixels (2.4x2.9 degrees) for M31 and 3000x3000 pixels for M33.
