A 75 ks Chandra ACIS-S observation of the merging Antennae Galaxies, NGC 4038/39, reveals a wealth of diffuse X-ray emission. Chandra's superior spatial resolution allows for the isolation and subtraction of many point sources and analysis of the diffuse component. We discuss the method by which point sources were eliminated, and present the results of our analysis. These include a temperature map as well as a ``true-color" image of the diffuse emission. Comparing the morphology of the diffuse X-ray emission to data at other wavelengths reveals that the diffuse component is closely correlated with regions of star formation, and the hardness of the diffuse emission is dependent on the amount of intervening dust and gas, seen as dust lanes in optical images. This work is partially supported by NASA contract NAS 8-39073 (CXC).
