We present initial results from SPEAR sky survey observations of a region near the North Ecliptic Pole. Because the SPEAR sky survey sweeps from the North Ecliptic Pole to the South Ecliptic Pole, this region receives a significantly higher total exposure than other parts of the sky. We present FUV spectra of this region and discuss the contributions to these spectra from hot interstellar gas, stellar radiation scattered by dust, unresolved stars, and molecular hydrogen fluorescence.
