Experiments have been conducted on a two-channel nulling stellar
coronagraph. Our nulling stellar coronagraph is based on polarization
interferometry and a differential polarimetric method enables detection
of polarized light from extrasolar planets, thereby removing unpolarized
light from the host star. The laboratory experimental results are shown.
