The fourth paper of our series of papers entitled "Differential Geometry of Microlinear Frolicher Spaces is concerned with jet bundles. We present three distinct approaches together with transmogrifications of the first into the second and of the second to the third. The affine bundle theorem is established for the second and third approaches. Since the paper has become excessively long, we have divided it into two parts. In the second part of the paper we will see that the three approaches are equivalent, as long as we adhere to the classical context in which coordinates are available.
