Difference Filter, Chandler Wobbles

In this paper, a new filtering method, in which the difference of second order is used to filter a time series of equal interval. It includes difference filtering, difference filtering with fidelity and multiple difference filtering with fidelity. As an example of application of the new method, the results of the separation of annual and Chandler wobbles in polar motion from 1979 through 1990 are given.
