A device for recording charged cosmic radiation particles aboard a satellite is described in which two detectors - one movable and the other stationary - are employed to determine the registration time. The position of the detectors for which a particle is registered is determined by comparing the sections of the track caused by the same particle in both detectors, thus making it possible to determine the recording time and place. The recording time is determined precisely during experiments extending over several days by moving the movable detector reciprocally in sinc with the period of rotation of the satellite about the Earth.
