Distribution of quiescent prominences in latitude has been measured in 120 days in 1995. Analogous to the sunspot number Re a prominence number Rp has been used to describe the variation of activity. Mean values of Rp for the northern and southern hemisphere from 1985 to 1995 are shown and compared with those of Re.
