B,V light curves of the W UMa system DF Hya are modeled with the Wilson-Devinney synthetic light curve program. Preliminary unspotted solutions were obtained by the grid searching technique. Two possible photometric mass ratios were derived. Finally, the light curves were modeled by introducing large spots on both components to represent the observed light curve asymmetries. The best solution shows that the system is a marginally evolved W-type system.
