The present status of the optical and X-ray performances of high-quality
grazing-incidence X-ray mirrors on flat graphite epoxy substrates is
examined. The manufacturing of flat CFRP mirrors is described together
with the test methods and the results of optical and X-ray tests.
Possibilities for further improvement of these mirrors are discussed.
