We have developed a control software system for the Cooled Mid-Infrared Camera and Spectrometer (COMICS) use at the Subaru telescope which is located at the summit of Mauna Kea in Hawaii island. The Subaru telescope is controlled by several software systems, in which SOSs (Subaru Observation Software system) supervises observations, CSC (Comics Software Control system) realizes series of observations in cooperating with SOSs. CSC provides GUI to control COMICS for developers and observers. We developed CSC using the same machine and operating system as those of SOSs but using different GUI which is based on the X window system (Xtoolkit) CSC uses several communication methods in order to control equipment and to communicate with SOSs. The RPC protocol is used for communications with outside workstations, however functions such as pipe, signal and events are used for communications with inner processes.
