We developed a Near-Infrared Cross-dispersed Echelle spectrograph, ``NICE'', which covers the wavelength range from 0.9μm to 2.4μm with four exposures, and has a wavelength resolution of λ/δλ˜2600. These capabilities enable us to simultaneously evaluate the continuum level and intensity of various lines of a spectrum with high accuracy over a wide wavelength range. Since NICE is designed to be compact, by adopting a ``white pupil'' configuration and fully refractive lenses, we can carry out observations with small telescopes.
