Current estimates of the impact of close binary stars on the shaping and ejection of planetary nebulae include a number of systems for which no published data exists other than discovery notations and orbital periods. Six of the currently catalogued sixteen binary systems are poorly studied. With the current emphasis in planetary nebula research on determining the role of binarity in the planetary nebula process, it is imperative that we understand as well as possible the small number of detected binary systems. We propose here to obtain photometry that will allow us to model the six poorly studied systems. The required photometric observations span two semesters, therefore we are requesting long-term status for this program. In addition to binary modeling, we will also use the results of the photometry to propose follow-up spectroscopic observations in a future semester. The spectroscopy combined with photometry requested here will allow accurate binary modeling of the systems.
