A method is suggested for the determination of the temperature and the angular radius of the central star from the radio flux of a planetary nebula and the stellar magnitude of the nucleus under the assumption that the region of the radio emission is the Strömgren zone. A dependence has been obtained between the nucleus temperature and the values observed for different ratios of hydrogen and helium concentrations in the nebula. The temperatures and the angular radii have been calculated for 25 nuclei and linear dimensions of 18 nuclei are determined. An empirical relation is obtained between the temperature and the radius of the central star. The location of the central stars on the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram is discussed.
