The algorithm requirements for the problem solving and factors determining the accuracy of the solution are analyzed. The types of telemetry data used and the models adopted for the satellite motion about the center of the mass are described. The scheme for the technique used to determine the attitude on the basis of magnetometer data is also discussed.
