The lifetimes of the 5p 3P1, and 6s 3S1, levels in the spectrum of neutral cadmium were determined together with the branching ratios of the 6s 3S1 level. The accuracy in the lifetimes is less than 3%; the accuracy of the branching ratios is down to 6%. Comparison with literature data is given.
