This poster presents the effects of astrometric error on the determination of the orbital elements of directly detected extra-solar planets. The process for solution of the orbits in the case of direct detection is reviewed and a means of including astrometric error into the analysis is introduced. The sources of astrometric error in direct detection of extra-solar planets are discussed. The quality of the solution for the orbit is determined in terms of the number of observations used in the analysis and the magnitude of the astrometric error.
