Using the data of the Polarization Catalogue, the interstellar component of the linear light polarization of 10 red supergiants is determined. In some cases a correlation between the degree of intrinsic polarization and the light variation is noticed. A linear dependence between the degree of intrinsic light polarization of red supergiants and the amount of absorption in the circumstellar dust cloud and the colour-index (I-K) is found.
