Solar Spectrum Telescope, Instrument Profile, Solar Spectrum

A method for determination of instrument profile of the solar spectrum telescope is described in this paper. The instrument profile is measured with a He-Ne single-mode laser device as its light source. A half width of the instrument profile is 0.049 Å and the profile is in symmetrical pattern. The theoretical estimation of the half width in the profile is 0.043 Å showing that the instrument is successful in design, making and optical adjustment.
