We examine the annual precipitation in Beijing area response to solar activity changes during the period 1749-2001. A hierarchy of changing complex periods of precipitation is carefully detected and related cycles compared with results from SN analysis. Our findings support the suggestion that solar activity influence precipitation, at least in part in Beijing.
