Data obtained by Intercosmos 4 at sunset in the 1-8 A range are used to
determine atmospheric neutral-gas density in the 80-135 km height range.
The accuracy of this method is evaluated, and the results are compared
with those of measurements obtained in the Lyman-alpha line.
