The time delay, Delta-t, between light variations in two images of the
QSO 0957 + 561 has been observationally established at 1.55 + or - 0.1
years, for which the most probable Hubble parameter value is 77 km/sec
per Mpc. The brightening of the B image, which is currently taking
place, is physically the same as that of the A image in 1982.
