During the annular solar eclipse of September 23, 1987, Baily beads were observed at two locations on the southern and northern edges of the path. The observations were analyzed to identify the features of the lunar profile which gave rise to the beads. They were then reduced to derive corrections to the ecliptic longitude and latitude of the sun and the standard solar radius. The corrections obtained are: Delta r = -0.11 + or - 0.03 arcsec, Delta l = +0.57 + or - 0.09 arcsec, and Delta b = +0.02 + or - 0.02 arcsec (the errors are mean errors).
