Scientific paper

The paper deals with the problem of a satellite orbit from boundary conditions containing data on the coordinates of two satellite positions, two radial velocities, and the satellite transit time. It is shown how the problem can be reduced to the evaluation of the roots of a transcendental equation. The influence of input-data errors on the accuracy of orbital determination is assessed.
