The possibility of detecting solar neutrinos by the worldwide network of
neutron monitors is examined. The neutron-monitor response function to
high-energy solar neutrinos is reexamined. It is shown that the
probability of detecting high-energy solar neutrinos with the worldwide
neutron-monitor network is higher than previously thought.
