All three known X-ray states of the black hole candidate GX339 - 4
('low', 'high', and 'off') were investigated by the Granat Observatory
during 1990-1991. In the 'low' (hard) state, 0.8-Hz quasi-periodic
oscillations of its X-ray flux were detected.
