A CCD imaging observation of Comet Austin 1989c1 was carried out with a 60-cm telescope. By applying a ring masking technique to C2 images, jet structures extending to about 30,000 km were found. Two morphological types of the jet structures were detected: one is a spiral type found in Comet P/Halley; the other is a straight structure in the antisolar direction. This is the first case of gaseous-jet detection of a new comet in the Oort sense.
