Spectral UV variabilities for the Ap-Si star HD 25823 are detected from 5 SWP IUE images. This peculiar and magnetic star presents also an uncommon overabundance of gallium. From the observations, it seems that silicon and gallium (and also other) abundance varies according to the rotational period of the star, as does the magnetic field. The anticorrelation observed between periodic variations of silicon and gallium confirms the predictions of diffusion theory.
