In order to overcome the complex and time-consuming ephemeris computing, the authors design an ephemeris computing platform called China-VO Ephemeris WS for ephemeris programmers and researchers with the new techniques of JNI (Java Native Interface) and Web Service, which is based on the precise, long time span and enriched Swiss Ephemeris function package. Then they introduce the way to use the China-VO Ephemeris WS, drawing the central eclipse chart, for example.
