Taking the opportunity of the transfer of PSS system into ECSS one, ASTRIUM was contracted by ESA to update the document treating of derating and Worst Case Analysis (PSS-01-301 issue2). Main EEE parts families were studied with identification of the ageing mechanisms and admissible load ratios, then a proposal was provided. The updated document is now introduced in the ECSS system under the reference ECSS-Q-60-11 draft and shall be issued and applicable in a near future. This presentation will highlight the main changes on it and gives some rational elements to justify it.
