We present a numerical study on the behavior of the density power
spectrum resulting from compressible hydrodynamic, thermally unstable
simulations with different rms Mach numbers Mrms. We find
that the spectrum becomes shallower as M increases and that spectral
index values that are consistent with those reported from observations.
