We introduce a new method to prove equidistribution properties in complex dynamics of several variables. We obtain the equidistribution for saddle periodic points of Henon-type maps on C^k. A key point of the method is a notion of density which extends both the notion of Lelong number and the theory of intersection for positive closed currents on Kaehler manifolds. Basic calculus on the density of currents is established.
