The complete formulas for calculating the station displacements caused by the earth tide and the earth pole tide are given. Results of calculations of baseline correction show that, if the radial component of the station displacement vector is positive (negative), then the baseline correction is greatest when the baseline is in the opposite (same) direction as the displacement vector. When the radial component of the station displacement vector is larger than the horizontal component, the correction increases with increasing baseline length.
