From the M17 region, we present population classifications of young stellar objects (YSO) using the Spitzer Space Telescope and the InfraRed Survey Facility in their respective deep JHK and IRAC 3.6, 4.5, 5.8 and 8.0 μm bands. The primary subjects that will be addressed are spatial distribution of YSO clusters, the evolutionary classes of the YSO's, the surface density of the different classes relative to the overall distrubution of sources and estimates of star formation efficiency.
