This 5 GHz image has an rms noise of only 2.5 microJy. It was used to compile a complete (>95%) catalog of 62 sources with a peak flux density at 5 GHz greater than 16 microJy at 8 arcsec resolution and a typical position accuracy of 0.2 arcsec. Source counts at microJy levels were obtained from this catalog. The VLA was used in its B, C, and D configurations to observe a single primary-beam area centered on R.A. = 14h 16m, Dec. = +52.7d at 5 GHz for 126 hours. See the following reference for more information: Fomalont, E. B., Windhorst, R. A., Kristian, J. A., and Kellermann, K. I. 1991, AJ, 102, 1258 This image and related TeX file come from the NRAO CD-ROM "Images From the Radio Universe" (c. 1992 National Radio Astronomy Observatory, used with permission).
