We request simultaneous Chandra (100 ks) and XMM-Newton (50 ks) observation of NGC 2110. The combined data will allow us to tackle key issues which cannot be broached using either dataset alone. The primary goal of deconvolving the broad and narrow components of the Fe Ka line requires simultaneous observation by Chandra and XMM, as recent data have indicated narrow components of Fe Ka to vary. Thus, only simultaneous data will allow us to resolve the controversy regarding the diskline in type 2 AGN. The proposed data will also allow tight constraints on the absorbing gas.
