The objective of the present analysis is to study the relationship of decimetric radio-frequency radiation of terrestrial space to chromospheric flares, sudden ionospheric disturbances, and solar radio bursts. It is shown that the decimetric radio emission is associated with the action of the impulsive component of solar UV radiation and X-rays on the earth's ionosphere.
